Lazy river at this price point is genuinely unusual — most $300/night all-inclusives don't offer one. Outside hurricane belt means January–March bookings are reliable without weather-disruption premium.

Watch out: Holiday Inn brand isn't glamorous — rooms are functional but dated (last refresh 2019). Pool deck capacity is tighter than Hyatt or Marriott. Palm Beach can be busy and crowded; if you want quiet beach time, Eagle Beach properties are calmer.

Most amenity-dense family pool resort in Aruba — the 3-main-pool layout means depth zoning works without overcrowding. Hyatt-branded reliability on water chemistry, lifeguard staffing, and kid programming. Waterfall feature is the visual hook for under-10s.

Watch out: Resort fee is steep ($45/night) and parking is paid ($35/night). Pool capacity caps in winter peak weeks; arrive before 10am.

On Eagle Beach side which has calmer swim water than Palm Beach — under-5s can be in the ocean without parental death grip. The 3-pool layout with dedicated kids splash zone delivers solid family separation. Casino floor pool means parents can rotate kid duty during casino time.

Watch out: Eagle Beach is more residential than the resort strip on Palm Beach — fewer walk-to restaurants. Marriott's pool deck is smaller than Hyatt Regency's; peak capacity hits earlier.

Lagoon-style pool design is unusual for Aruba — most resorts use traditional rectangular pools. The waterfall slides give kids 5–12 active pool play similar to Hyatt Regency but at slightly lower nightly rates. Recently renovated (2022) so rooms feel newer than Hyatt's.
