Information We Collect

When you subscribe to our email list or use our family vacation advisor, we collect your email address and the responses you provide so we can send personalized recommendations and trip planning emails.

Hotel Quotes and Checkout

When you search WFV hotel quotes, we send your stay dates, room and adult counts, each child's exact age, currency, and nationality to Nuitée to find room offers and prepare checkout. An anonymous browser booking cookie, marked Secure and HTTP-only, associates your browser with its quotes and checkout attempt. We store browser-scoped search, quote, and handoff records in a protected hosted Supabase database to operate this flow.

In managed checkout, Nuitée collects guest contact and payment details on its checkout, rather than on WFV's quote pages. Nuitée handles guest and payment data; WFV may receive guest contact and reservation details through authorized provider dashboards or booking emails. Review the policies presented on Nuitée's checkout before submitting your details.

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand site usage in aggregate. Inputs are masked and we only track anonymous behavioral data — we never sell your information.

On WFV booking routes, we record only sanitized funnel steps such as opening booking, requesting room offers, selecting an offer, starting checkout, and choosing an existing hotel booking alternative. These events include the public hotel and destination identifiers, a public source path, search outcome, and room, adult and child counts. Anonymous browser and session identifiers help us connect these steps to verified booking outcomes. We respect analytics opt-outs. We do not record booking pages or forms, automatically capture their interactions, or send stay dates, children's ages, nationality, names, contact or payment details, booking references, checkout links or recovery links to PostHog. Nuitée's native checkout has its own data handling and policies.
