The Sources
How we collect the data.
For each property we research and verify 40+ data points across the six categories. Sources include:
- 01Direct property data — official website, room dimensions, amenity lists, brand standards
- 02Booking site filters and verified guest ratings (Booking.com, Hotels.com, Expedia)
- 03TripAdvisor reviews filtered for "family with young children"
- 04Brand standards documentation for chains (e.g. Four Seasons Kids For All Seasons curriculum)
- 05First-person editorial visits and reader-submitted feedback
