The honest review

Embassy Suites by Hilton Niagara Falls - Fallsview occupies a 42-story tower in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, immediately adjacent to the Falls Incline Railway and roughly 300 meters from Horseshoe Falls. On the same side of the border as the Sheraton Fallsview in this catalog, it trades some of that property's spa-and-rooftop-bar polish for a genuinely different value proposition: every room here is a suite, not just the upgraded ones.

That all-suite format is the property's strongest family argument. A standard room is a separate living area (typically with a sofa bed) plus a bedroom, which means parents and kids aren't stacked into one open room for the whole trip — meaningfully different from a standard hotel room, especially for multi-day stays or families traveling with grandparents. Every suite also has a minifridge and microwave, useful for snacks, bottles, or reheating leftovers instead of paying Fallsview restaurant prices for every meal.

The free made-to-order breakfast and complimentary evening reception (drinks and light snacks) are both included in the room rate — a real contrast with the Sheraton Fallsview down the block, where breakfast is a CAD 42.95/adult add-on and a resort fee applies regardless. Between the indoor pool, hot tub, and an on-site arcade/game room, there's enough to fill a rainy afternoon without leaving the building. STK Steakhouse handles a nicer dinner on-site if parents want Fallsview views without changing hotels.

What this property does not have: a spa, a rooftop pool, or the panoramic wall-of-glass Fallsview rooms the Sheraton offers on its best floors — Falls views here depend on room assignment and are not guaranteed at the base rate. As with any Canadian-side stay, US families need passports for everyone (including kids) and should build in border-crossing time at Rainbow Bridge or Peace Bridge, especially in summer. Rates quoted here are in Canadian dollars; check foreign-transaction fees on your card, and expect the CAD number to convert to a noticeably lower USD figure than it looks like at first glance.
