Disneyland Paris has seven on-property Disney hotels, and Sequoia Lodge sits in the sweet spot for families who want the immersive Disney experience without paying flagship prices. The setting is a convincing American National Park lodge aesthetic — dark timber, stone fireplaces, forest murals — which feels surprisingly coherent given that you're in Marne-la-Vallée, France.

The on-property location is the main argument. Hotel guests get early park access (30 minutes before general admission) at both Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios. With small children, those 30 minutes are worth their weight in gold — Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and Avengers Campus have dramatically shorter queues before the gates open to the public. The free shuttle to the parks runs constantly, but the hotel is close enough to walk in under 10 minutes.

The pool complex is genuinely good for a theme park hotel: indoor heated pool plus outdoor pool in warmer months, slide, and shallow kids' wading area. After a long park day, children will want to swim before bed, and this delivers. The Hunter's Grill restaurant does an American-style dinner buffet that families with picky eaters will appreciate — wide variety, all-you-can-eat, included characters at breakfast on select mornings.
