The honest review

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos completed a $50 million renovation in mid-2025 that touched the lobby, dining venues, and — most relevantly for families — expanded the KidZ Club programming and added a dedicated Teen Club. Los Cabos skews adult and golf-oriented as a destination, and most of its all-inclusives program activities for kids 4–12 and stop there; a real Teen Club is a genuine differentiator for families traveling with older kids.

The KidZ Club itself runs a camping theme post-renovation, with a mini waterpark (5 slides), an indoor facility with a craft area and movie room, and staff who work Mexican culture into activities like piñata-making and treasure hunts rather than a generic international kids'-club script.

At 607 rooms including 34 swim-up suites, room-fit skews toward suites over standard rooms, and 7 restaurants cover a full week without repetition. Pricing places this firmly in Cabo's premium all-inclusive tier — Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas and Villa del Palmar both undercut it substantially for families prioritizing value over renovation-fresh polish. For families who want the newest facilities and a legitimate teen program on the Sea of Cortez side of Cabo, this is the property to book.
