The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch opened in 2002 as Ritz's flagship Colorado ski-and-summer mountain resort. The property sits in the gated Bachelor Gulch enclave, separated from Beaver Creek Village proper, with its own private chairlift connecting to Beaver Creek's ski terrain. The structural advantage as a family pick: ski-in/ski-out access without Beaver Creek Village crowds, plus year-round Forbes Five-Star service.

Winter ski advantage: Bachelor Gulch is part of the Beaver Creek resort but accessed by the Strawberry Park Express chairlift directly from the hotel base.
