The Grand Hotel of Cape May is the town's practical counterpoint: a straightforward beachfront hotel with the pool infrastructure and family rooms that a Victorian B&B usually can't offer, at rates that undercut most of Cape May's historic-district competition.

The pool setup is the headline. Both indoor and outdoor pools are heated saltwater, with the outdoor pool running seasonally (roughly May through October) and the indoor pool available year-round — genuinely useful for a shoulder-season trip when the ocean itself is too cold for kids. There's a dedicated children's pool separate from the main pools, which matters for families with toddlers who need shallower water and less chaos.
