North Beach Resort & Villas sits on its own 7.5-acre island in North Myrtle Beach, bounded by the Atlantic Ocean on one side and White Point Swash on the other — a genuinely distinct setting compared to the dense high-rise strip further south in Myrtle Beach proper. The gated community combines two oceanfront condo towers with a smaller neighborhood of upscale houses, giving families a real choice between high-rise condo convenience and more private house-style accommodations.

The amenity package is one of the largest in the Myrtle Beach rental-condo category: five outdoor pools plus an indoor pool, a lazy river, and what the resort claims is the largest swim-up pool bar in South Carolina. Families with a range of ages benefit from having enough pool space that everyone isn't competing for the same lounge chairs. Cinzia Spa and the Beach Fit fitness center give parents a genuine reason to book a treatment or a workout rather than just watching kids from a poolside chair.

Dining is unusually strong for a condo resort — 21 Main Prime Steakhouse is a legitimate destination restaurant in its own right, supplemented by Seaside Cafe, North Beach Pizza Co., and a poolside grill, meaning a family can eat every meal on property without feeling stuck with mediocre food.

Unit range is the standout for large groups: standard condos run 1-5 bedrooms across the two towers, and the resort's signature 7-bedroom penthouse ("The Bridge") can house a full extended-family reunion in a single unit. As with any large condo resort of individually managed units, exact furnishing and view quality vary by specific unit and tower — checking the listing's specific building (oceanfront vs. second-row) matters when booking.
