A restored 18th-century Georgian naval dockyard and UNESCO World Heritage Site, with a museum, working boatyard, and superyachts tied up alongside historic stone buildings. It is compact and walkable enough that kids stay engaged rather than dragging through hours of exhibits.
Watch out: There is little shade around the harbor itself — go morning or late afternoon rather than midday in summer. The site is more wander-and-look than hands-on, so younger kids do better with a shorter visit.

A boat trip to a shallow spot on the island’s north side where southern stingrays are habituated to visitors — kids can wade in and touch and feed them with a guide supervising, the same concept as the better-known Cayman version but with smaller crowds.
Watch out: As with any ray encounter, let a guide show kids the right way to approach — flat hand, from the front, no chasing. It is a smaller, less-crowded operation than Grand Cayman’s version, which some families prefer.

Watch out: This is a crowded, loud, alcohol-heavy party scene, not a quiet family sunset spot — it is a better fit for families with older kids or teens than toddlers who need an early bedtime. Parking and the drive up get congested close to sunset; arrive early.
