Kids old enough to pedal independently can ride ahead safely; younger ones ride in a rented trailer or tag-along.
Watch out: Path traffic gets heavy midday in peak summer weeks, mornings and evenings are calmer. Rental shops sell out of trailers and kids' bikes on busy weekends, reserve ahead rather than walking up. Bring water; there's not always shade along every stretch.

About 20 minutes from Sunriver in Bend, this isn't a static exhibit hall, it keeps live raptors, river otters, porcupines, and other native species with regular keeper talks throughout the day. Indoor and outdoor sections mean it works as a rain-day backup or a standalone half-day trip.
Watch out: The otter feeding and raptor talks run on a schedule, check times when you arrive so you don't miss them. Some outdoor trail sections involve real walking distance between exhibits; a stroller works but expect some uphill stretches. Parking fills up on weekends.

Is Lava River Cave stroller-friendly?
