The Lodge of Four Seasons is the strongest traditional resort on the lake for mixed-age families. Four pools — including a heated year-round indoor/outdoor pool plus the Cloverleaf, Seasons Bay, and Atrium pools — give kids options in any weather, and the game room and nightly movies in the property's own Cordoba Theatre cover evenings. The lake's largest full-service marina rents pontoons, ski boats, and WaveRunners, with captained options for families who would rather not drive.

The pricing structure is genuinely family-friendly: up to two children stay free in existing bedding, and cribs are available on request. Standard rooms take rollaways at $20 per stay, and suites are available for families who need more space. One cost to factor into comparisons: a $21 nightly resort fee covers the pools, movies, Wi-Fi, and shuttle.

The honest trade-off is age — this is a classic grand resort and some areas show it. Families who want modern, recently renovated finishes will notice.
