The German 'Kinderhotel' category exists for this specific use case — a hotel where children are not just accommodated but genuinely served, freeing parents for the mountain experience rather than constant supervision.

The three age-segmented kids' clubs (0–3 months for drop-off care, 4–8 for structured play, 9–14 for adventure activities) run 12 hours daily with professional staff. The indoor waterpark is a genuine waterpark — slides, lazy river, shallow toddler pool with spray ground — not a hotel pool with a waterslide. In a region where afternoon rain is common from June through August, the indoor waterpark is the difference between a ruined afternoon and a fantastic one.

The adults' wellness area is architecturally separated from the children's zones, which is the key operational feature for parents: you can recover in the spa knowing children are in structured programming and not potentially wandering into the adult areas. This is a meaningful distinction that most 'family-friendly' hotels never achieve.
